Trump says he wouldn"t be opposed to higher gas tax

Bloomberg spoke with Trump today and the President said he wouldn"t be opposed to raising the gas tax, so long as the money was used for highways.

The full context of the comments sounds like he was responding to a question but Trump is usually more measured than he seems, so it could become a real issue.

if there was any substantial increase in gasoline taxes, it would certainly crimp US demand and is likely to weight on oil prices.
