• Spending on consumption-based goods and services by bank customers slowed to 2.0% y/y for Q1


• Down from 3.1% y/y in Q4 of 2016

Another NAB report showed online shopper spending also slowed in April, down 0.8% m/m

• Compared to gains in March, was +0.8% m/m


• Most online retail categories saw a slowdown


• Retail trend was most pronounced slump
