Private oil inventory data shows much bigger than expected build, oil price drops

The data is released at 4.30pm ET - tthat"s the sharp drop in price since then we"ve seen

Social media reporting a build of 9.3 mln barrels

Official data will be released from the US Energy Information Administration Wednesday morning, US time. Expectations are currently at a build of 1.53 mln barrels, which seems a bit low given the private data out now. But the two are often quite different.
