In brief:

Confederation of British Industry expects GDP to grow by 1.3% in 2017

• CBI believes business investment will be flat next year & fall in 2018


• Companies will wait for the outcome of the EU negotiations before investing

National Institute for Economic and Social Research expect GDP to grow by 1.4% in 2017 (1.7% in 2016)
