US 10 year yield trades at day lows

Yields lower today after GDP/Durable goods disappoint

The yields in the US are ending the week on a weak note as the US data today was simply not as good as expectations. 

 

The 10 year yield has dipped back below the 2.50% level after reaching a high of 2.5526% in trading yesterday. We currently trade near the low for the day at 2.4825% (the low reached 2.4806%).   The yield approaches the 100 hour MA at the 2.47% level.  

IN other markets, Gold trades at the session highs at $1190.50. The low extended to 1180.63 today.

US stocks are limping toward the close with the market little changed:

• S&P index is down -0.16%


• Nasdaq is up 0.02%


• Dow is down -0.07%

Crude oil futures are trading down $0.57 or -1.06%.
