Japan finance minister Aso: Declines to comment on direction and level of FX

"of FX" ... that means the yen, obviously

As the yen strengthens we can  expect more remarks from Japan on it ... even if that"s "no comment". Japanese officials do not want it gaining too much more.

Jawboning will be the first response ... and we are getting some whispering on it in recent days.
