The Atlanta Fed GDPNow final estimate for 3Q comes in at 2.1%

Below estimates of 2.5% for tomorrows key release.

The Atlanta Fed GDPNow estimate came out earlier today, and the final estimate before the advance GDP for the 3Q is release tomorrow pins GDP growth for the quarter at 2.1%. That is up from 2.0% from last week"s estimate, but below the average from surveyed economists on Bloomberg at 2.5%.   There was even higher estimates from CNBC yesterday looking for a number closer to 3%.

The Atlanta Fed"s new estimate included data from recent releases on trade, inventory, and durable goods. In their words:
