Crude oil is trading at $49.81, plus $.64 or 1.3%

Brent crude oil is trading at $50.55, plus $.60 or 1.18%

Spot gold is trading at  $1269, + $2.65 or +0.21%

In the US stock market now:

• NASDAQ composite index is down -0.31%


• Dow industrial average is down -0.05%

US bond yields are also sharply higher:
