There are plenty of wealthy people in the world but this chart from Credit Suisse truly underscores the incredible riches at the top of the US food chain.

That"s almost enough to buy off every member of Congress ;)

In total, about 141,000 people on this planet are worth more than $50 million. More than one-third of them are in the United States.
