Trump has made the decision to withdraw

Trump tweeted on the weekend that he will make a decision on it this week. That and his spat with European leaders were widely interpreted to mean that he was leaving the Paris accord.

A handful of news organizations are citing separate sources but the details of the report from Axios are more notable because it"s not just the Paris accord that"s at stake, they say. Leaving it would take Trump three years but White House officials are also considering leaving the underlying United Nations climate change treaty, which would hasten the timeline but be far more extreme.
